4.申请资格 Eligibility

①非中国籍公民，身体健康；

Non-Chinese citizens, in good physical and mental health

②截至2026年9月1日，来华攻读硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，年龄不超过35周岁；来华攻读博士学位者，须具有硕士学位，年龄不超过40周岁；

Up to 1 September, 2026, applicants who apply for the master’s scholarship should get their bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old; Applicants who apply for the Ph.D. scholarship should get their master’s degree and be under 40 years old

③成绩优秀，科研能力突出，汉语HSK4级或以上;

Applicants should have good academic marks and have outstanding capacity in scientific research; HSK≥level 4

④非其他奖学金获得者。Without winning other scholarships.

5.申请材料 Application Documents Required

申请人必须如实填写和提交以下申请材料：

Applicants should complete and submit the following application documents:

①《中国政府奖学金申请表》

Application form for Chinese Government Scholarship

②《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行保存）

A copy of foreigner's physical examination form(the original should be kept by yourself)

③经过公证的最高学历证明（中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文译本，应届毕业生须提交预毕业证明）

Notarized highest diploma(in Chinese/English or notarized in Chinese/English. Fresh graduates must submit the pre-graduation certificate)

④本科或硕士阶段全部课程的成绩单原件（中英文以外文本须附经公证的英文译本）

Original academic transcripts of all master's degree or PhD courses. (Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized English translations)

⑤两名教授或副教授的推荐信（中文或英文）

Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors(in Chinese/English)

⑥来华学习或研究计划，申请人必须提交用中文或英文书写来华学习或研究计划(硕士不少于1000字，博士不少于1500字,博士研究生须由中方导师签字）

A study plan in English or Chinese(no less than 1000 words for master's degree; no less than 1500 words for PhD The proposal of a doctoral student shall be signed by the applicant’s Chinese supervisor.

⑦研究成果，已发表的论文、获奖证书等能够证明自己学业成就和研究能力的资料

第2步：完成留学基金委来华留学网上报名后，打印系统自动生成的《中国政府奖学金申请表》，按照“申请材料”清单的要求准备相应材料

Step 2: After completing the online application of the China Scholarship Council, print the application form for the Chinese government scholarship which the system automatically generates, and prepare related documents according to the requirements of the list of “Application Documents”

7.录取和入学 Admission and Entrance

第一步：审核申请材料，通过材料审核后，招生办公室将组织相关专家进行网络或现场面试。最终录取结果将在7月15日左右公布（具体时间以国家留学基金管理委员会通知为准）

Step 1: Applicants will be selected according to the application documents and interview. The first selection result will be seen in late April. The final result will be seen on 15 July or so (see the China Scholarship Council's notice)

第二步：入学时间为每年9月15日之前，具体时间以《入学通知书》为准

Step 2:The registration deadline is 15 September 2023 (See the admission notice)

8.注意事项

1.中国政府奖学金招生不委托留学中介机构及第三方有偿进行。

1.The Chinese Government Scholarship enrollment does not entrust overseas study intermediary institutions or third parties to conduct the process for a fee.

2.中国政府奖学金生不得同时享受中国各级政府和录取院校设立的其他奖学金（不含各类一次性奖励金）的资助，一经发现，其中国政府奖学金资格将予以取消，并须退还已领取的中国政府奖学金。对于刻意隐瞒资助情况的，除取消资格外，三年内不允许申请中国政府奖学金。

2.Recipients of the Chinese Government Scholarship shall not simultaneously receive funding from other scholarships (excluding all types of one-time awards) established by governments at all levels in China and the admitting institutions. Once such a case is discovered, the recipient's eligibility for the Chinese Government Scholarship will be revoked, and they must refund the Chinese Government Scholarship funds they have already received. For those who deliberately conceal their funding status, in addition to the revocation of eligibility, they will not be allowed to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship within three years.
